A dedicated suction head seals against the surface. The blast stream treats the material while spent abrasive and generated dust are immediately extracted, separated and contained within the closed-loop system.

How the closed-loop HSP system works

The blast head simultaneously seals the impact zone and provides a return path for the material. After contact with the surface, abrasive, corrosion, old coating and dust enter the suction hose. The recovery separator removes dust and contaminants from reusable abrasive, which is then returned to the process. This reduces spillage, work-area cleaning and the need for additional enclosure around the workpiece.

1. Blasting

A pressure blast stream passes through a boron-carbide nozzle to treat the surface.

2. Extraction

The head immediately collects the abrasive and generated dust.

3. Separation

The recovery separator removes dust and worn particles.

4. Reuse

Clean abrasive is returned to the system.

Closed suction head

The suction head is the key to the closed-loop process

The head seals the blast zone against the surface. As the nozzle accelerates abrasive towards the workpiece, the vacuum stream immediately collects rebounding abrasive, removed corrosion, coating and dust. Reusable abrasive passes through the separator and returns to the process, while dust is removed by the filter unit.

Interchangeable attachments and sealing geometries are available for different surface shapes, allowing HSP systems to work on flat surfaces, edges, corners, welded joints and local repair areas.

HSP-200 Performance is designed for large or installed components, local repairs, precise residue removal from welded joints and work in environments where dust and abrasive spillage must be minimised.

Both systems use an enclosed head that blasts and extracts simultaneously. Selection depends on surface area, required output, abrasive type, working pressure and site conditions.

For components and localised surfaces that cannot be treated in a cabinet or blast room. The head is placed directly on the workpiece, while interchangeable attachments provide a seal on flat surfaces, corners, edges and other geometries.

HSP-200 Performance

For large, installed and difficult-to-move components, precision repairs and residue removal from welded joints. Powerful extraction, separation and HEPA H14 filtration enable controlled operation without an additional enclosure around the workpiece.
