Clemco mobile blast machines are designed for professional surface preparation and treatment in workshops, on construction sites, during maintenance and in industrial production. The pressure vessel, metering valve, remote control, blast hose and nozzle form one matched system. Correct component selection provides a stable blast stream, uniform abrasive consumption, safe operation and the best performance available from the compressor.

Machine capacity is not the only selection criterion. The configuration is determined by the abrasive type and grit size, nozzle diameter, required pressure, hose length, available compressed-air flow, number of operators and required output.

Smaller machines with capacities of approximately 20, 40, 50, 60 and 140 litres are also available, as are large stationary systems, twin-chamber machines for continuous operation and special automation configurations.
The pressure vessel is filled with a suitable abrasive and sealed under operating pressure. The metering valve precisely introduces abrasive into the compressed-air stream; the mixture then passes through the blast hose and accelerates in the nozzle.
A pressure system delivers substantially higher output than a suction system and is used when intensive cleaning, rapid removal of corrosion and coatings, formation of a defined roughness profile or high capacity is required.

The RLX dead-man control allows the operator to start and stop the blast stream at the work position. Releasing the handle stops the process automatically. The twin-line hose transmits the pneumatic signal between the control and the machine, increasing safety and controlling abrasive consumption.
Nozzle diameter directly determines the required airflow. A larger nozzle increases productivity only when the compressor can maintain the required pressure. SURFACE considers nozzle diameter, operating pressure, hose losses, abrasive type and required result during selection.
